Seeking Cheerful Polished Hygiene Coordinator/Dental Assistant We are a busy and growing/fun and progressive/professional Dental Office with an immediate opening for a full time (4 Days) hygiene coordinator/dental assistant. We offer a friendly caring work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, a four-day work week and competitive pay and benefits. Experience in dental field required. We are an EOE. Primary Job Duties Include: • Schedule and work hygiene re-care • Answer telephones, screen and forward calls. • Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files. • Assist with Dental treatments as instructed • Take and record dental histories and patient records • Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment • Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized • Instruct patients in oral hygiene Ideal Candidate: • Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone • Must be articulate and service-oriented • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others • Reliable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week. • Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others. • Previous dental assisting experience.
