Aquario Dental & Braces or Carrera Dental & Braces is looking for a full-time General Front Desk to join our team in our Houston, TX location. *SPANISH SPEAKING (BILINGUAL REQUIRED) Job Responsibilities: -Greeting and registering patients, checking them into the facility, and returning them to the patient room if necessary -Scheduling appointments -Answering phones, taking messages, and directing them to the appropriate person -Entering and updating patient records and appointment information -Providing outstanding customer service to patients and their families in a courteous manner -Verifying Insurance from time to time on Medicaid, CHIP & PPO insurances -Other duties as assigned -Presenting & Accepting Treatment for patients and their families The Ideal Candidate Will Have: - 2-3+ Years in Dental Front Office -Insurance Verification proficiency in Medicaid (90%), Chip (2%), PPO (8%) -Treatment Coordination experience -Greeter Experience -Solid Customer Service -Ability to handle high volume patient flow Pay: $15.00 to $20.00 depending on capabilities & experience Healthcare setting: -Dental Clinic -Private practice Schedule: -8 hour shift -Overtime -Tuesday - Saturday (11 am to 7 pm T-F/ (10:00 am to 3:30 pm Sat) Ability to commute/relocate: Houston, TX 77023/ 77020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Dental Front Office: 2 years (Required) Dental Insurance Verification: 2 years (Required) Dental Treatment Planning: 2 years (Required) Open Dental/ Dentrix/ Eaglesoft: 2 years (Preferred)
