Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist! Are you passionate about dental health and dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. We are needing someone to fill in the 1 to 3 days a week. We are flexible on days. About Us: The Dentist of Allen is the castle located off 75 and exchange in Allen :) We are a thriving and well established two doctor private practice who has been around since 1983 with both long-time patients and team members. We take advantage of current technology to make patient care more effective and comfortable for both our patients and our team. We use softdent, digital x-rays, Nomad, Itero scanner, diode laser, Nupro freedom and cavitron. Softdent knowledge would be ideal but not necessary. We can teach our new team member:) Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist with our practice, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral hygiene and preventing dental diseases. You will work closely with our dentists to provide preventive care and educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health habits. New patients are scheduled for 1.5 hours. Recall prophy's and perio maintance are 1 hour SRP are 1.5 hours per 2 quads Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing Conduct comprehensive dental examinations Take dental X-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans Collaborate with dentists and other team members to deliver personalized care Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygienist license CPR certification Proficiency in dental software and digital X-ray technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and patient care Benefits: Competitive salary Health insurance coverage ( if you come on full-time) Yearly bonus for full-time employees.
