Our privately-owned general practice office is looking to add an Office Manager to our growing, modern dental office located in Brentwood (Tri-Star Building on Nolensville Rd). Overview We are looking for an *Experienced* Dental Front Desk Administrator/Office Manager to assist office regarding patient flow of our dental office, Tennessee Family Dental (Brentwood) Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant environment for new and existing dental patients, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. Previous experience as a Dental Front Desk Administrator is required. This can include Dental Receptionist, Patient Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator or Office Manager. Approximately 1/3 of our patient base is adult TennCare and the remaining 2/3 of our practice is PPO/cash. Modern Technology on-site (CBCT, iTero, etc) w/ large office (5,000 sq ft w/ 8 ops) Experienced doctor with strong clinical skill set and patient communication skills *Quarterly Employee Profit Sharing Program for all full-time employees* Primary Responsibilities - Creating and implementing new office policies to reduce overhead and maximize profit. - Managing the day-to-day financial activities of the office (e.g. general insurance knowledge required, insurance responsibilities are outsourced to a third-party.) - Maintaining quality control and patient experience - Responds to patient and staff inquires and complaints - Ensures compliance with OSHA, and record keeping guidelines. - Conducting regular staff meetings & annual performance reviews. - Ensures procedures are carried out in accordance with the office manual. - Solicits patient feedback to improve service. - Monthly reports (supply ordering, office production, doctor production, payroll, etc.) - Scheduling for the office including front desk, assistants, doctors and hygienists. - Presenting and following up on patient treatment plans & outstanding balances/credits. Miscellaneous Responsibilities - Greeting patients with a smile :) - Answering phones - Returning Voicemails/Emails - Scheduling for dentists and hygienists - Prepare and be involved in team morning huddles - Managing day-to-day activities of the office - Address individual patients concerns or complaints in a calm manner Skills -Past experience (2 years) in a dental office setting at the front desk - General knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures - Proficiency practice management software navigation - Basic computer skills - Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work - Attention to detail and problem solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment - A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements - High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Benefits: Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off (up to 4 weeks) Schedule: Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Schedule: M-TR 7:30AM - 4:30 PM F: 7:30AM - 2:00 PM 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Administrative experience: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person ***$2,000 signing bonus*** ***Quarterly Bonus Structure*** If you think you would be a great addition to our team, please email your resume to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info].
