We are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Appointment Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to patients. About the Role: As the first and last point of contact for our patients, you play a critical role in the patient experience. We're looking for someone who is not only organized and detail-oriented, but also warm, positive, and genuinely enjoys building relationships with people—on the phone and in person. This is not a sit-back-and-watch job — we want someone who is not afraid to jump in, get involved, and take ownership of their role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet patients with warmth and professionalism in person and over the phone Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently while maximizing the daily schedule Handle high-volume phone calls with confidence and courtesy Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment, financial policies, and office procedures Verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate patient records Collect co-payments and maintain accurate financial documentation Support the clinical team in maintaining a smooth and productive schedule Follow up with unscheduled treatment and missed appointments Contribute to a team environment with a “how can I help?” mindset WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 1-3 years experience in a dental office (REQUIRED) Proven ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Tech-savvy and comfortable with dental software systems (Experience with DENTRIX ASCEND a plus) Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude, great energy, and a heart for patient care Someone who shows up on time, is dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with people WHY JOIN US?
