Dental Assistant (EFDA): Seeking a team-oriented dental assistant/and EFDA for a comprehensive, detailed and fast-paced cosmetic dental practice. Our current team is made up of naturally hard-working and caring individuals that go out of their way for our patients and one another. We enjoy working together for the common goal of our patients achieving optimal oral health. Duties as an EFDA would include: - Provide assistance to dentists during procedures including preparation and documentation - Assist with clinical procedures such as: restorations, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments per state requirements - Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients - Assisting in the performance of quality, caring clinical dentistry - Aiding the doctor smoothly and unobtrusively - Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients - Works in unity with other team members to ensure the proper appearance of lab, treatment rooms and office. Charts procedures to include patient conditions, medical and dental histories, treatment procedures and patient comments, charting to indicate the next treatment to be performed and helping to facilitate next hygiene appointments.
