Job Description – Part time( - 3 days (with possible transition to full time) Hygienist. Which part time days to start will be negotiable for the right candidate. We seek an upbeat, energetic RDH with great people and clinical skills for a one-doctor private family dental practice. Our practice provides restorative care, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, extractions, and whitening services. Pay is flexible and will depend on experience and qualifications. Qualifications - Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to grow with us! We are a rapidly growing, single doctor private practice in Pleasant View, Tennessee and we are seeking a motivated individual looking for more than a 'clock-in/clock-out' work experience, who knows what excellence means and strives for it, and who has a real interest in bettering themselves. Only Qualified applicants will be contacted. Responsibilities - Sterilize dental instruments properly. Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history. Aid in identification of conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis. Clean and help protect patients’ teeth, remove plaque or apply fluoride or sealants. Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care. Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures. Take X-rays or dental impressions. Assist dentist with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases. Maintain electronic documentation and charts on each patient. Skills - Must love people and enjoy interacting with patients, and other employees. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession. Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment. Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour US work authorization (Required) Education: Associate (Preferred) License/Certification: TN RDH License (Required)
