You’ll provide licensed hygiene care, patient education, and help manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. Build lasting patient relationships while working with a collaborative team that values your expertise. What You’ll Do: - Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships - Verify and document patient health history - Educate patients about oral hygiene, health, disease, and available procedures - Perform clinical hygiene functions: diagnostic x-rays, blood pressure, adult/child prophylaxis, nonsurgical periodontal therapy, co-assess restorative needs with the doctor - Determine needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed What You’ll Bring: - Dental hygiene certification from an accredited school - Current hygiene license for Virginia - Up-to-date OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training - Experience with dental software Location:
