Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 Compensation: $22 - $25/ hour Location: Smyrna, TN Hours: Part-Time; Two days a week + Saturday: Hours will vary but are planned out in advance for Saturday classes and coverage during the week. Cumberland Academy of Dental Assisting is seeking dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to lead our clinical classes. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, guiding students through hands-on practice, and preparing them for successful careers as dental assistants. All curriculum and materials will be provided. Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week. The expectation is to start with 8 hours a week and increase as training progresses. - Teach and demonstrate dental assisting techniques and procedures. - Provide individual and group instruction to enhance students' learning experiences. - Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. - Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure relevant instruction. - Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty with approved materials. - Track student attendance and grades. - Implement and adhere to all school policies. Qualifications - RDA with a minimum of 3 years with experience in general or pediatric dentistry. - Or EFDA with a minimum of 1 year with experience in general or pediatric dentistry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to engage and motivate students. - Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
