Our team is dedicated to making every patient's experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Front Office Coordinator to join our team. Position Overview: The Front Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of dental office management practices. The ideal candidate will be experienced in scheduling appointments, processing patient billing, and working with dental insurance companies. Key Responsibilities: Patient Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal flow of the practice and minimizing wait times. Insurance Verification & Billing: Verify insurance eligibility, manage patient insurance information, and assist in submitting claims. Follow up on unpaid claims and work with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies. Patient Communication: Handle patient inquiries in person and over the phone, including questions about treatments, insurance, billing, and scheduling. Administrative Support: Manage front desk operations including maintaining patient records, filing, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Treatment Coordination: Work with the dental team to coordinate treatment plans, gather necessary information, and schedule follow-up appointments. Collections: Handle patient billing and collections in a professional manner, ensuring all payments are processed accurately. Office Supply Management: Ensure office supplies are well-stocked and ordered as needed. Qualifications: Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a dental office, with hands-on experience in front office operations (billing, scheduling, insurance). Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dental insurance plans (PPO), coding, and billing procedures. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental)
