Position Overview Are you a seasoned and organized dental professional ready to take the next step? We’re seeking a dynamic Lead Dental Assistant to elevate our practice by combining expertise in chairside assistance with strong leadership and administrative capabilities. This pivotal role ensures high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and smooth team coordination. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support & Patient Care Assist the dentist during procedures, handling instruments and materials with precision and care Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols Capture diagnostic images (e.g., X-rays, intraoral photos) and manage accurate patient charting in the electronic dental record Team Leadership & Mentorship Train, mentor, and oversee other dental assistants and support staff Manage staff schedules, delegate duties, and act as liaison between dentist, staff, and management Provide feedback, evaluate performance, and help drive continuous improvement in team efficiency and patient experie Administrative Oversight Monitor inventory, place orders for dental supplies, and maintain budgetary compliance .Ensure equipment is properly maintained, coordinate repairs, and log maintenance activities Uphold regulatory standards such as OSHA, HIPAA, CDC protocols, and oversee documentation like spore testing and PPE logs . Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years (or more) of clinical dental assisting experience, with at least some supervisory or mentoring roles preferred . . Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, multitasking, and organizational abilities . Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with dental software and technology (e.g., digital imaging systems and charting tools) . Why Join Us?
