Looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our team. We are a dental office that values patient care & we want our patients to have a wonderful experience. For that reason, we are looking to add a specific person to join us. Must have a servant-minded attitude and an excellent chairside manner . We provide patients with high-quality care to improve the health, function and aesthetics of their smiles. Dental Assisting Responsible for day-to-day operations and helping with growth of the practice by assisting the doctor provide clinical care for patients. Essential Job Duties • Chairside assistant passes instruments, mixes materials, operates suction and retracts tissue to maintain patient safety and clear visual field • Observes all OSHA/HIPPA/Universal Precautions protocols/procedures to maintain compliance and safety • Sterilization/infection control of instruments and operatory equipment • Preparation of treatment rooms for specific procedures • Greets patient and seats them in patient treatment rooms o Review procedure planned for the appointment o Verify medical history in chart o Vitals recorded • Breaks down rooms according to our protocol to prevent cross contamination • Performs digital x-rays, intra-oral photos, and extra-oral photos • Inventory control, tracking, ordering of supplies and equipment • Excellent communication to business office • Keep operatories stocked with appropriate supplies • Maintaining Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly equipment maintenance • Keeping track of all patients referred out for treatment and following up with patient or specialist offices • Logging and tracking lab cases in Open Dental Hours: Mon: 7:30-4:30 Tues/Wed: 7:30-5:30 Thur: 7:30-4:30 Licensing/Credentials Current Registered Dental Assistant certification for TX Current CPR
