Sachse Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled, experienced Dental Assistant to join our team — orthodontic experience is a strong plus! About Us At Sachse Family Dentistry, Dr. Travis Rottman leads a patient-focused practice serving Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, and surrounding communities. Dr. Rottman is committed to delivering quality care — including sedation dentistry, laser treatments, and same-day dental services — and prides himself on staying current through ongoing education. As a Dental Assistant on our team, you will: -Assist the dentist chairside -Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment -Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos -Take impressions, fabricate temporary crowns, and perform lab tasks -Support orthodontic procedures (bonding, wire changes, etc.) if you have that experience -Provide patient education and post-op instructions -Help maintain a clean, efficient, and hospitable operatory environment -Work closely with front-desk and hygienist teams to ensure smooth patient flow The ideal candidate will have: -At least 2–3 years of experience as a dental assistant in a general dentistry setting -Orthodontic experience — strongly preferred -Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral photography -Excellent communication skills and a caring bedside manner -Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a calm, positive demeanor -Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic When you join Sachse Family Dentistry, you’ll receive: -Competitive pay and performance-based incentives -Support for continuing education & professional growth -A positive, respectful, patient-centered workplace -Modern, well-equipped office with up-to-date dental technology -Opportunities to help expand orthodontic and specialty services We look forward to meeting you and building smiles together!
