We are a state of the art dental office in McKinney, TX that is growing and would be excited to have a professional, detail-oriented and highly motivated front office administrator with an awesome attitude to join our team! Our office is a new modern design that is welcoming to patients and will reflect quality to match our brand and vision for the practice. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year dental front office experience or be a candidate with at least 1 year of customer service experience. The ideal candidate will be willing to help in any area of the practice when necessary and have a great personality that will be able to communicate with customers as well as other team members. The candidate should be able to talk about finances and prioritize their work accordingly. Prior knowledge of Dental software is a plus, but not required as the team member will be receiving training. Basic computer knowledge is a must in order to succeed in our office as digital utilization will be consistent throughout. Lastly, friendly phone skills is a must, as it is utilized consistently. Exceptional attitude and willingness to learn with engagement with customers are essential to succeed in this position. We will work in a close team environment and constantly communicate in order to help each other on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets) Communicate effectively on the phone in a friendly manner Support office staff and call center agents Schedule shifts Ensure timely and accurate customer service Handle complaints and specific customers requests Troubleshoot emergencies Monitor stock and order office supplies Ensure proper mail distribution Prepare and monitor office budget Keep updated records of office expenses and costs Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met Skills: Exceptional phone skills are essential Proven work experience as a dental receptionist, business coordinator, bank teller Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures Proficiency in English (oral and written) Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Excellent communication and people skills Good organizational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving skills High School diploma; additional certification is a plus.
