A private pediatric dental office in Carrollton TX looking for a full time Registered Dental Assistant with at least 2 years experience who will make the dental experience efficient and pleasant for patients. Registered dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. You will be working with a team. Great working atmosphere. Responsibilities • Welcome patients and families in the dental office • Should be comfortable in taking digital x-rays for children Should be able to do coronal polishing on children ( must be certified in coronal polishing or be eligible to get certified) • Prepare patients for exams and treatments ensuring their comfort • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed • Sterilize instruments according to regulations • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions • Keep the treatment room clean and well-stocked • 2 years’ experience as Registered Dental Assistant • Understanding of health & safety regulations • Experience with pediatric dental office is a plus • Excellent communication and people skills • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like sealant placement is a plus • Attention to detail • Well-organized, punctual, trustworthy and reliable Must have Texas RDA certificate This is a full time position, serious applicants only We offer benefits Office hours: Monday- Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Fridays- 8:00- 1pm No weekends
