We are currently looking for a competent dental assistant to join our team and help make our office more efficient and pleasant for our patients. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service while taking over basic dental tasks to support the dentist. We are looking for an individual who is well-organized, reliable, and possesses great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions, respect dental office regulations, and provide high-quality direct or indirect patient care to ensure office procedures run smoothly. (While not required, being bilingual is a plus.) The core duties include the following: - Welcome customers to the dental office. - Prepare customers for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort. - Select and set up the instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures. - Sterilize instruments according to safety regulations. - Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry. - Undertake lab tasks as instructed. - Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients. - Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked. Following skills and qualifications: - Proven experience as a dental assistant - Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods - Understanding of health and safety regulations - Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing - Strong computer skills and proficiency - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - High level of attention to detail - Well-organized and reliable professional conduct
