Hello Dental Assistants ! We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team ! New grads are welcome to apply. We are a private dental practice inside a spacious stand alone building in Aubrey. We have one doctor and one hygienist a day, and we are open Monday through Thursday. No weekends ! Your main responsibilities include the following: - Conducting patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs - Preparing patients for their treatment procedure including taking preliminary impression, getting informed consent signed, selecting a crown shade, etc. - Assisting the Dr to provide a safe and proficient treatment for patients - Helping the patients to feel welcomed and appreciated by building a fun and positive rapport with patients - Sterilizing instruments and stocking them in organized fashion - Keeping the treatment operatories, work and breakroom areas tidy - Taking digital dental x-rays (we use digital sensors). You are eligible to receive dental benefits after 3 months of continuous employment, and you're also eligible to receive Paid Time Off (PTO) after 6 months of continuous employment.
