Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with health regulations. Hours- Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30. Some Fridays as needed. Pay- Neg. based on experience. Looking for someone long term willing to learn and grow with a growing Endodontic practice. Benefits -Paid Holidays -Paid time off -401K -Production Bonuses -No weekends -Group outings Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including endodontics and other treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Record vital signs and maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient. Utilize TDO for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required by specific procedures. Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and answer any questions they may have. Skills Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred but not required Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding basic medical documentation. Familiarity with TDO or similar dental practice management software. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Ability to perform endodontic procedures under the guidance of the dentist. Experience using 3D scanners for dental imaging is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
