Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Private Practice We are a modern private dental practice seeking an experienced and patient-focused Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality preventive care while creating a comfortable experience for patients. Schedule Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, sealants and scaling and root planing as indicated Conduct thorough oral health assessments including periodontal charting and evaluation of oral conditions Take digital radiographs Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Identify areas of concern such as decay, periodontal disease, and oral lesions and communicate findings with the doctor Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation Ensure proper infection control and sterilization protocols are followed Provide a positive and supportive patient experience Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Texas Minimum 4 YEARS of clinical dental hygiene experience required Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dentistry Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high clinical standards Certification in laser therapy is a plus Ability to administer local anesthesia is a plus We are looking for a team player who takes pride in their work and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients while contributing to a positive and professional practice environment.
