Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings (scaling and root planing) and apply preventive materials (fluoride, sealants)
- interpret high-quality dental radiographs
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits
- Strictly follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and HIPAA regulations, along with proper operatory sterilization
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid TX Hygiene license
- 6+ months of experience working in a dental office
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively present treatment plans and calm anxious patients
Proficiency in Dentrix is a plus
