Our office is currently looking for an experienced chair-side assistant and front desk. The ideal candidate should be able to work in relationship driven dental office environment. This position is listed as a full-time position. Our dental practice is located in Glen Allen, VA. All applications should include an updated resume and cover letter. Job Description: Assist dentist during restorative procedures Obtain X-rays using digital x-ray sensors Organize instruments Sterilize operatories following dental procedures Clean and autoclave instruments Manage restorative inventory Assist with scheduling referrals Act as a liaison between dentist and office administration for the purpose of billing and treatment planning Minimum Preferred Qualifications: A certificate or equivalent credential from an accredited dental assisting program A minimum of 1 year of experience as a chair-side dental assistant Experience working with Open Dental office management software Experience using Microsoft Office application suite Excellent written and oral communication skills
