Permanent position for defined time for dental assistant, 4 Hand Dentistry Practice, sometimes utilizing 2 assistants with 4-hand assistant and operatory assistant; ideal for a predental candidate who wishes to get into dental school, who is all ready to go to dental school but has to await months or a year plus to be admitted, or who is taking the DAT currently and will likely be a candidate for dental school starting in 2027 summer; will include a possibility of working more hours outside the office hours for doctor in preparing a book to be published on a highly valued dental technique which doctor excells at and has 44 years plus of case studies for publication, with possible assisting with lecture options for dental groups during the time period as a research assistant (documenting successes); as a rewarding background for doing research in dental school upon admission or graduation; could be a job for a young dentist, hygienist, or assistant starting out as a side job for a defined period of one day a week which will vary week to week from the four days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Ocassional Fridays or Saturdays could be optional work days for the book preparation, which would be either in office or off site at an office for book preparation. Ideally candidate should live in the immediate area of the Dallas, Texas, North Central Expressway / Northwest Highway job sites for convenience and cost effective living conditions. Can be an excellent time for someone studying for the DAT but is in no hurry to take it, as a lot of learning can be done while working with a seasoned practitioner with lots of mentoring availability. Good option for candidate who is finishing college in the immediate area with just a few hours of college per week which allows for our office hour variations. In past we have hired the same type candidates successfully helping them get into dental school in time. High quality practice with full time functioning is the ownership while this job offer and practice is with a part time former owner, partly retired. Only well trained existing dental assistants should apply due to nature of expectations. The research book job could be a 2nd person as indicated by job description but ideally is one person available for all. Interviews will be determined by resume quality and potential for success.
