Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at Adams Periodontics, you will be at the forefront of specialized periodontal care. Key Responsibilities: - Perform specialized periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planing, with precision and a gentle touch. - Educate patients on the link between periodontal health and systemic wellness, providing customized home-care instructions. - Utilize advanced technology, including digital X-rays and paperless charting, to maintain comprehensive patient records. - Collaborate directly with Dr. Adams to develop and implement individualized periodontal treatment plans. - Perform periodontal maintenance and monitor healing progress for surgical and non-surgical cases. - Maintain the highest standards of sterilization and infection control. Qualifications: - Valid North Carolina state license to practice dental hygiene. - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. - A strong interest or experience in Periodontics. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to put anxious patients at ease. - A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to professional growth.
