We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice at Nicolas. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment. The position is for both locations in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach. What You’ll Do -Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures -Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed) -Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos -Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments -Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare -Maintain accurate patient records in EMR -Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed Benefits & Perks -Health, dental, and vision insurance -Paid time off (PTO) -Company-paid STD/LTD -401(k) with up to 4% company match Requirements & What We’re Looking For -1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred) -RDA or CDA certification (preferred) -Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements -Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day -Manual dexterity required -Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally more in patient-care situations) Southern Orthodontic Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
