Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming face of our dental practice. In this role, you will greet and check in patients, assist with check-out as needed, and support the day-to-day flow of a fast-paced, insurance-driven office. A strong understanding of dental financials and insurance processes is highly valued. Your positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to help wherever needed will contribute to a smooth and efficient patient experience. Duties Greet patients warmly and check them in, ensuring a positive first impression Assist with patient check-out, including reviewing treatment plans, collecting payments, and explaining financials Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments Answer and manage incoming calls professionally, including scheduling and patient inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental software Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed Communicate effectively with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow Assist with administrative tasks and support team members as needed Requirements Previous dental front desk or administrative experience preferred Experience with Open Dental is highly preferred Strong understanding of dental insurance verification and patient financials Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Proficiency in basic computer skills and office systems About the Role Join our team in creating a welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused dental office.
