Join our dynamic team as a Dental Assistant, In this vital role you will be, delivering exceptional patient care by providing efficient chairside assistance & managing procedures. Responsibilities *Assist with general dentistry procedures. *Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary tools, and maintaining aseptic technique standards. *Take and develop X-ray images, ensuring proper positioning and adherence to infection control protocols while maintaining patient safety. *Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems with Open Dental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with *HIPAA regulations. *Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and treatment efficiency. Experience: *Prior experience working in general dentistry is required. *Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health is essential. *Familiarity with Open Dental software. *Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. *Hands-on experience with chairside assisting, including taking vital signs and supporting general dentistry procedures like prosthodontics is beneficial. *Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners and X-ray machines confidently. *Strong communication skills combined with a professional attitude are key to providing excellent patient care across diverse age groups.
