East Franklin Dentistry (https://www.eastfranklindentistry.com) (https://share.google/v186QVlmxQNePxjKJ) We are a growing practice, locally owned and operated private practice that accepts PPO insurances (no HMOs or TennCare). Our office is in the southeast area of franklin a few miles off of the Mcewen exit of I-65 (5030 Carothers Pkwy) Our hygienists' typical scheduling blocks are listed below: 90 min: New Patient Exams, 2 Quadrant SRP 60 min: Recall exams (Periodontal Maintenance, Prophylaxis), Emergency/Limited Exam We are currently looking for full or part time coverage Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5PM (1 hour lunch). We are not currently scheduling hygiene patients on Fridays but would open the schedule if the hours were wanted by a hygienist The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, a dedication to patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with their peer hygienists, doctors and other office staff. Responsibilities: - Perform routine dental hygiene procedures, including administration of local anesthesia - Take digital x-rays with NOMAD technology as well intraoral photographs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking blood pressure readings - Update and maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Collaborate with the dental office team to ensure efficient and effective patient care Skills: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues - Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient assessment - Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team - Proficient in medical record keeping and documentation - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
