Join Our Wonderful Dental Family! Are you a compassionate Dental Hygienist looking to be a part of a great dental team? We are a private practice with a long history of providing quality dental care to a very loyal patient base. We love our patients and have a need for a full-time dental hygienist. We are looking for a friendly, organized, self -motivated, outgoing, great team player and hardworking individual. The ideal candidate would be someone who cares deeply about people. To provide quality care, our hygienist deliver care in a single column with one hour for recall patients. We have wonderful hours (most days done by 3:00 pm) and great benefits that include paid vacation, sick days, paid holidays, health insurance, dental care, 401k, profit sharing, bonuses and fun team activities! Responsibilities • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions • Customize care to meet patient's oral health • Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques • Maintain patient confidentiality, professional care, and ability to stay on schedule • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene • Registered Dental Hygienist license in Texas • Current CPR certification • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices Mon-Thurs: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (every other Wednesday is 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, and work one Friday a month from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm) Salary: $48.00 to $55.00 /hour
