Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with 2+ years experience to join our vibrant dental prosthodontic team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure smooth clinical operations, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety. Duties: Assist the doctor during various dental procedures, impalnts, oral surgery, restorations etc ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized dental instruments and equipment, adhering strictly to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques. Take high-quality dental digital x-rays and 3D scans using advanced imaging technology while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix including documenting medical history, vital signs, and treatment details. Educate patients on oral health care practices, pre and post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive medical documentation and ensuring proper dental instrument processing. Support general procedures with four-handed dentistry techniques, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Experience: Proven 2+ years experience working as a RDA in a busy dental office environment. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and infection control protocols. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or other healthcare management software is a plus. Competence in taking X-ray images, including dental x-ray and oral surgery imaging, adhering to safety standards. Ability to perform dental sterilization procedures effectively while maintaining compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control guidelines. Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with doctor, hygienists, patients, and team members in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of clinical documentation practices related to dental procedures for accurate recordkeeping.
