About the Role
The Treatment Coordinator will play an important role in helping patients understand their recommended treatment, coordinating their care, and supporting the practice's front-office and revenue cycle operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a periodontal, oral surgery, or dental implant practice and be comfortable discussing and coordinating treatment involving periodontal procedures, dental implants, and other oral surgical services.
We would especially like to meet candidates who have:
• A strong understanding of periodontal, dental implant, and oral surgical procedures.
• Experience presenting and coordinating comprehensive treatment plans.
• Knowledge of dental insurance, benefits, pre-authorizations, claims, and insurance coordination.
• Understanding of the complete RCM process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• The ability to confidently discuss treatment and financial considerations with patients.

What You'll Do
- • Present and explain recommended treatment plans to patients in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner.
- • Coordinate periodontal, dental implant, and oral surgical treatment.
- • Help patients understand treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance benefits.
- • Coordinate insurance verification, pre-authorizations, claims, and related insurance processes.
- • Assist with the entire Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process, from treatment presentation through payment and account resolution.
- • Work closely with doctors, hygienists, clinical staff, and the front office to ensure excellent communication and continuity of care.
- • Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments.
- • Follow up with patients regarding proposed treatment and outstanding treatment decisions.
- • Assist with patient accounts, financial arrangements, and collections as needed.
- • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- • Provide a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.
