What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care
- Perform patient assessments, periodontal charting, digital imaging, and accurate clinical documentation
- Identify periodontal conditions and appropriate opportunities for SRP and additional treatment
- Educate patients about oral health, periodontal disease, preventive care, and recommended treatment
- Partner with doctors through co-diagnosis and treatment planning
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards
- Work closely with the clinical and front-office teams to create a seamless patient experience
What You'll Bring
Required
- Active Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Strong periodontal assessment, charting, patient-education, and SRP identification skills
- Comfortable partnering with dentists during co-diagnosis and treatment planning
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Knowledge of infection-control and sterilization requirements
Preferred
- At least one year of clinical hygiene experience
- Experience with digital dentistry or dental practice-management software
