Office Manager Dental Illusions | Cosmetic, Implant & Wellness Dentistry | Houston, TX $33–$37/hour + quarterly bonus | Full-time | 6 AM–2 PM, no weekends Dental Illusions is a private, single-doctor practice in Houston led by Dr. Basil Moukarim, who has 28 years of clinical experience. We do cosmetic, implant, full-mouth, and biological dentistry. We are a Digital Smile Design Certified Practice and members of the IAOMT and IABDM. We're small on purpose: one doctor and a team of five. Patients are known by name, and the doctor who explains the plan is the one who does the work. We are not corporate, and we never will be. Why this role is different Our patients come to us because nobody ever explained anything to them before. Many are health-conscious, well-read, and cautious about what goes into their bodies. Some arrive skeptical after bad experiences elsewhere. Your job is to make them feel heard from the first phone call, help them understand their options and costs, and guide them through treatment. We teach patients; we don't sell to them. You'll work directly with the owner as a true partner in running the practice, not as a manager reporting up a corporate chain. What you'll do • Lead the front office and keep the day running smoothly, including the morning huddle • Present treatment plans and financial options for implant, full-mouth, and cosmetic cases • Manage PPO insurance verification, claims, AR, and collections (we're fee-for-service and also accept most PPO plans) • Oversee scheduling so complex cases get the time they deserve • Train and support the team, and solve problems before they reach the doctor • Track the practice's numbers and help us improve them What we're looking for • 3+ years in dental office management, or senior front office experience with a clear path into leadership • Strong PPO insurance and billing knowledge • Treatment presentation experience, ideally with larger restorative or implant cases • Dentrix or Oryx experience preferred • Calm under pressure, warm with anxious patients, and organized without being rigid • Genuine interest in whole-body health. You don't need to be an expert in biological dentistry, but you should be curious and willing to learn. • Spanish is a plus What we offer • $33–$37/hour based on experience, plus a quarterly performance bonus • PTO, paid holidays, CE allowance, and complimentary dental care • Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, no weekends.
