About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Expanded-Functions Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to work alongside a general dentist and specialists in periodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics. Candidates with experience in either dental implants or orthodontics are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate in a second specialty, offering an excellent opportunity to expand clinical skills, gain hands-on experience across multiple specialties, and grow professionally within a collaborative, patient-focused practice.
What You'll Do
- Provide four-handed chairside assistance during routine, restorative, surgical, periodontal, prosthodontic, and orthodontic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance.
- Take dental X-rays, intraoral photographs, and digital scans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, including treatment notes and patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dentists, specialists, hygienists, front-office staff, and patients.
- Assist with implant procedures, orthodontic adjustments, and other specialty treatments based on qualifications.
