About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and ensuring efficient daily operations.
What You'll Do
- Assit the Dentist during examinations, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and necessary materials before each patient appointment.
- Sterililze and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA and infection-control guidelines.
- Take dental x-rays and impressions
- Review and update medical and dental histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide a welcoming, positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and clinical areas.
- Monitor and restock dental supplies and materials.
- Assist with scheduling, charting, and other administrative duties when needed.
- Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff to maintain smooth patient flow.
