Dental Hygienist Primary OfficeJefferson, GA 30549We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and therapeutic dental care to patients, educating them on proper oral hygiene techniques, and assisting the dentist with procedures as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform dental cleanings and screenings to identify oral health issues
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed
• Ensure a clean and sterile environment in the dental office
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience with dental software and digital x-rays preferred
Hours are Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
