Seeking to hire someone for a full time front desk position. Hrs are Monday/Wednesday 7 to 4 Tuesday/Thursday 8 till 5 and Friday 7 till noon. We are seeking someone with some dental experience in the front office. We use Dentrix as our dental software platform. Job duties are; answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, moving appointments, checking in patients, checking out patients, printing treatment plans, going over treatment with patients, posting electronic credit card pymts and checks to patient accounts. Responsible for submitting all dental claims at the end of the day electronically through Dentrix, balancing and printing off day sheet reports. Will need to call insurance companies on unpaid claims when necessary, sending pre authorizations for ortho starts, answering basic ortho questions and explaining ortho treatment plans and ortho financial responsibility to patients. Adding treatment to patient treatment plans very rarely but occasionally when needed. Watching and when necessary restocking a few supplies in the front lobby and restrooms. Occasionally, only when necessary stepping in to help put instruments in the sterilizer and to clean an operatory in a room to keep the patient flow moving on ortho days. Ortho days are TWICE a MONTH 7 till 1 or 2 on Friday. Most importantly, I want to hire a team player. Someone who is ethical, courteous, gracious, kind and professional.
