Groth Dental - Bingham Farms, MI
Experienced Dental Assistant / RDA — Groth Dental Bingham Farms, MI · Full-Time · 5+ Years Experience Required COMPENSATION $26 – $30 / hr based on experience and credentials BENEFITS Health insurance · Paid time off · CE reimbursement · Uniform/scrub allowance · 401(k) with 3% safe harbor · Profit sharing ★ Hour Magazine Top Dentist in Metro Detroit — 7 consecutive years, including 2026. Named to Hour's Best of the Best list. This recognition reflects the standard of care and team this practice has built over four decades. If you've worked in dentistry long enough to know the difference between a practice that just fills chairs and one that genuinely cares — you'll notice it here on day one. Groth Dental has been a trusted part of the Metro Detroit community since 1982. We are a relationship-first, restorative-focused practice built around exceptional clinical outcomes and a team culture that actually lives its values. We're not a high-volume, revolving-door office. We see 10–15 patients per day, take the time to do things right, and treat every patient like a long-term relationship — because most of them are. We're growing. We're adding a third assistant to support an associate dentist joining later this year. This is not a lateral move — it's a role with a real future in a practice that has already built something worth being part of. We are looking for one specific kind of person: someone who has put in the years, knows restorative dentistry at a high level, takes genuine pride in their craft, and wants to be part of a close-knit team for the long term. If that's you, keep reading. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Chairside assisting with Dr. Groth on restorative procedures — crown prep and delivery, implant restorations, Invisalign, composite restorations, and aesthetic cases • Operating our digital scanning workflow using Trios and iTero intraoral scanners — no traditional impressions • Working with our in-office 3D printer (SprintRay) as part of our same-day and in-house fabrication workflow • Anticipating the doctor's needs before they're asked — instrument setup, patient prep, tray sequencing, room turnover done right • Supporting our whole-health approach to care: sleep, perio, and systemic health connections are part of how we practice and how we talk to patients • Building genuine, lasting relationships with patients — you'll see the same faces regularly, and they'll notice whether you care TECHNOLOGY WE WORK WITH DAILY Trios Digital Scanner · iTero Digital Scanner · SprintRay 3D Printer · Digital X-ray WHAT WE REQUIRE • Minimum 5 years of hands-on chairside experience — restorative focus strongly preferred • RDA credential preferred; current Michigan X-ray certification required • A track record of tenure — we want to see commitment to practices, not a pattern of short stays • Comfort with or genuine curiosity about digital workflows and in-office technology • Someone who leads with confidence, brings real enthusiasm to the work, puts the team and patient first, and is always looking to grow — these are how we operate, not just words on a wall SCHEDULE Monday 8am–3pm · Tuesday 7am–2pm · Wednesday 8am–3pm · Thursday 7am–2pm HOW TO APPLY Send your resume to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info] with a short note — not a cover letter, just 2–3 sentences answering this: What kind of dental office brings out your best work, and why are you looking right now? We read every response personally. Applications without a note will not be reviewed. ■ This is a senior-level clinical role. Please do not apply if you have fewer than 5 years of hands-on chairside experience, or if you have held more than 3 positions in the last 5 yearsDentist
