Must have experience working within the portals and websites of all insurances, and experience working in accounts receivables, both patient and insurance, aged and new. Must have knowledge of fee schedules, and contract rates with insurance carriers to include nuances with common procedures impacting patient eligibility and benefit impact.
Scope of Responsibility:
Organize and strategize to increase collections at POS with an awareness across multiple markets
Improve insurance processing
Work with leadership to propose alternate strategies to maximize efficiency and evaluate key performance metrics to improve and reduce aging days for AR
Propose, plan, organize, and implement revenue cycle policies and workflow to achieve operational excellence
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Follow up on denied / rejected insurance claims
Train office teams on required images, narratives, and supporting documentation to process claims.
Review posted/deposited insurance checks
Audit patient accounts
Oversee resolution of contract payment issues and conduct comparative analysis of multiple carrier fee schedules.
Liaise with and support the dental offices on insurance posting, insurance verifications, EOB Training, etc.
Assist in insurance audits/inquiries, and internal compliance requests.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of dental billing and/or dental front desk a must
Minimum of 1 year of AR or revenue cycle experience
HS Diploma minimum; prefer advanced education in a related field, certificate courses in financial management systems are acceptable alternatives along with industry experience in these roles/responsibilities
Knowledge of dental insurance and terminology, dental software, processes and procedures of care delivery
Motivated to collect & resolve claims
Excellent written and verbal Communication
Excellent Working Knowledge of MS Office and proficient computer skills in General
Extremely detailed and organized
Must be a self-starter and a self-motivator.
Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
