We are Verona Family Dental in Verona, Wisconsin, otherwise known as “Hometown USA”! We are looking for a Dental Hygienist for 2-4 days a week as a permanent addition to our fun work family. We are a busy, growing privately owned practice with a fantastic reputation for our quality care and exceptional friendliness. We schedule adult prophys for 60-minute appointments. Our hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm with a pre-patient Huddle at 6:50 am and a half-hour break from 12-12:30pm. Our busy, multi-doctor office is growing and looking for an exceptional RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) to add to our well trained team. We have a full time spot open with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, but we would also consider multiple part-time employees as well. We are looking for candidates with experience in dental hygiene, great clinical skills, the ability to recognize and explain needed dental procedures, and the capability to work effectively as a team member. Excellent candidates would possess good time management skills, proficient computer and technology skills, and be an effective communicator with patients, doctors, and other team members.Our perfect candidates would be able to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, place sealants, properly diagnose and treat periodontal disease, make detailed and comprehensive clinical notes, and take excellent diagnostic digital x-rays. We would like the candidates to be experienced in discussing necessary treatment, including but not limited to: fillings, crown and bridge, bracket and wire ortho as well as Invisalign, sleep apnea, whitening with trays and Zoom, and endodontic procedures. Experience working with Eaglesoft and iTero scanners is a plus, but not required. Laser certification would be excellent too!
