Dlight Dental PLLC is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Washington, DC.*About the job:*
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for ensuring our patients’ dental experiences are pain-free and safety-conscious. You will work with other healthcare professionals, like periodontist, endodontist, and general dentists, to provide patients with comprehensive dental care.
*Responsibilities:*
* Identify and assess patients’ oral health needs
* Observe patients’ behavior while performing dental procedures
* Teach patients’ oral health maintenance techniques
* Provide safe and professional treatment according to dental guidelines
* Cultivate a a positive work environment
* Monitor patient health & well-being & report on any unusual symptoms
* Comply with all HIPAA regulations and security standards
* Maintain professional image and remember patient’s medical history
*Experience:*
* Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
* Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
* Understanding of health & safety regulations
* Good communication & interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Well-organized and reliable with a commitment to perfection.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
