We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Front Office and Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office while also managing insurance-related tasks efficiently. If you are organized, customer-focused, and have a strong understanding of insurance billing processes, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Greet and assist patients as they arrive, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience. • Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility, including benefits and any pre-authorizations required for treatments. • Process insurance claims accurately and promptly, following up on claim status and resolving any issues or denials. • Code procedures and services correctly for insurance reimbursement, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. • Provide financial counseling to patients, explaining their insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including insurance information, billing history, and correspondence with insurance companies. • Coordinate with providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation. • Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting. • Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes, including verification, claims submission, and coding. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, billing, and electronic health records. • Customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
