Our office specializes in implant dentistry and advanced procedures using state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Implant Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our patients. Job Summary: The Dental Implant Assistant will play a key role in supporting implant procedures from consultation through final restoration. This role requires proficiency with modern dental technology, including digital scanning systems, and a strong ability to communicate with patients and team members. Key Responsibilities: • Assist during dental implant procedures, including surgical and restorative phases • Perform and process digital scans using intra-oral scanning systems (e.g., iTero, 3Shape, Shining 3d, Medit, etc.) • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a sterile environment • Order supplies • Educate and communicate with patients regarding implant procedures and post-op care • Coordinate with dental labs for digital impressions and restorations • Maintain detailed patient records and treatment notes • Support inventory management for implant materials and surgical kits • Follow-up on dental implant leads • Assist with other dental procedures as needed • Ensure adherence to OSHA and infection control protocols Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years dental assisting experience, preferably in implant dentistry • Proficiency in digital technology, especially intraoral scanning and charting software • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Current certification in dental radiology and CPR • Detail-oriented, team player, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • DAANCE certification or experience with sedation dentistry is a plus Benefits: • Competitive pay based on experience • Continuing education and training opportunities • Supportive team and positive work culture • PTO, 401(k), etc.
