The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. **Responsibilities:** - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Take and develop dental x-rays - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Provide dental care for pediatric patients with a gentle and caring approach - Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection. **Experience:** - Previous experience working in a dental office setting - Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of Epic or similar electronic medical record systems - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Ability to assist the dentist efficiently during procedures - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
