Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Multidoctor practice in Cumming (Exit 13 of 400) and Lawrenceville location looking for an Expanded Functions Full Time Dental Assistant. We are growing steadily and need an excellent candidate to help provide a VIP experience for our patients. We're most interested in finding an energetic, positive individual. Our ideal candidate exemplifies competence, professionalism, flexibility, follow through and, wonderful communication skills. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices. Rapport and patient education are very important to us. Requirements: 5+ years of dental experience. Expanded functions certification. Dentrix experience is preferred. Fluent Spanish speaker preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment. Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Perform tasks such as taking X-rays, managing dental records in Dentrix, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, demonstrating strong communication skills.
