Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) & Friday (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) Position Type: Part-Time Start Date: Ideally mid July Job Summary: We are seeking one (or two**) dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues. Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Valid state of Georgia dental hygiene license. Associate’s degree in dental hygiene or equivalent from an accredited program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not required.
