Temp Hygienist needed for July. A well-established practice in Douglasville, GA is in need of a temp hygienist for 4 days in July. Dates needed are July 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th. Must be licensed in Georgia. Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus. Dental Hygiene Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Clinical Patient Care Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings) including scaling and polishing teeth. Remove calculus, plaque, and stains from teeth using manual, ultrasonic, and air-polishing instruments. Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants. Conduct periodontal charting and oral assessments to evaluate gingival and periodontal health. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) to aid in diagnosis 2.
