See below for more details.****** This is a unique opportunity for a team-oriented hygienist who values patient care as their top priority. Our practice is a one doctor, high tech, family dental practice with a close-knit team, based around quality care for a fair fee. Our practice has grown to the point where we need to add a second hygienist as we have run out of room for more new patients. We are also expanding the practice for this purpose, in terms of space, as well. We are looking to hire a full time hygienist who would grow into the position, starting off working 2 days a week in hygiene and 2 days a week learning and working in the practice overall so they can learn every aspect of the dental workplace and thus become a true “team member,” and a valuable “patient consultant”. As the practice continues to grow and you become comfortable with all aspects of dental care, this role would add on more days of hygiene until you are working in hygiene a full 4 days. We view this position as ideal for one of two candidates: 1. A new grad who wants to practice hygiene correctly from the start and also be given the opportunity to learn dentistry overall, so you can best communicate with your patients, doctor, and other team members. 2. A practicing hygienist who feels they haven’t been given the opportunity to treat patients how they want to, and yearns for the opportunity to do so. With one-hour appointments you will be given time to bond with, teach, and advocate for, your patients, so you can truly help them reach optimal oral health. We have an amazing schedule of 4 days per week with two long (4 day) weekends a month allowing time for travel, family and overall life balance.
