Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive preventive oral healthcare services under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This role focuses on promoting and maintaining oral health through clinical services, patient education, and the implementation of best practices in hygiene care. Key Responsibilities:     •    Perform professional teeth cleanings, including scaling and polishing.     •    Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings, including oral cancer examinations.     •    Take, develop, and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays).     •    Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and dental sealants.     •    Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive dental care.     •    Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and progress in dental records.     •    Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide high-quality patient care.     •    Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe clinical environment.     •    Stay current with developments in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education as required. Qualifications:     •    Licensed Dental Hygienist in Georgia.     •    Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.     •    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.     •    Proficiency in using dental software and digital radiography systems.     •    Commitment to patient-centered care and a team-oriented approach.
