Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Oral Surgery Assistant with prior experience in oral and maxillofacial procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role supports our surgeons in all clinical areas, including surgical procedures, patient care, sterilization, and post-op management. Key Responsibilities: • Assist surgeons during oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, bone grafts, and IV sedation cases • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a sterile field • Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures • Take and radiographs • Maintain accurate patient records and charting • Educate patients on post-operative care instructions • Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations • Collaborate with the surgical and administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant (required) • Current CPR/BLS certification • Dental Assistant certification; DAANCE certification a plus • X-ray certification • Experience with IV sedation and surgical instrumentation • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure • Professional demeanor and excellent patient care skills Why Join Us? • Supportive and team-oriented environment • Opportunities for growth and continuing education • Work alongside skilled oral surgeons and dedicated professionals • Make a real impact in patients’ surgical and recovery experience
