Job Overview: Vo Dentistry is a patient-centered family practice that believes in providing exceptional dentistry with a gentle touch. Our practice is growing and we are currently seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our amazing team! Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Take dental x-rays and develop them for diagnostic purposes - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field - Update patient records with accurate and detailed information - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in [STATE] - Experience is preferred, but not required as we are willing to train - Excellent work ethic, punctual, and an overall multitasking team member - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of Dentrix - Strong knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Dental Hygienists.
